Melvin Jerome Stewart of Bennettsville, South Carolina and Shannon Dewond Matthews of Newark, Ohio were married on the beach in Ocean View - Norfolk, Virginia.

Among over 60 other wedding guests attending were the bride's father Clay Matthews and the groom's mother, Michelle Greene.

After the beach wedding ceremony, the whole group had a party-cruise on board the Spirit of Norfolk ship.
