Doug and Khara were married just before sunset on a summer evening at White Hall Vineyards outside of Charlottesville. Kristy Pence Mildenberger was Matron of Honor, Amber Pence was Maid of Honor, Tricia Turnbull and Marlo Powell were Bridesmaids. Sam Minnis was the Best Man. James Turnbull, Tim Work and Tom Gillikin were Groomsmen.

A reception at White Hall Vineyards followed the ceremony. The newlyweds and their wedding party stayed at the Inn at Sugar Hollow.
