Chad and Katie were married beside the beach at the Virginia Waterfowl Museum. Amanda Yowm was Maid of Honor and Christopher Hendrickson was Best Man. The bride was escorted down the "aisle" by her father, Clyde Hendrickson.

After their Virginia Beach wedding, the couple had a wedding reception in Norfolk with friends and family members. They spent the weekend at the Barclay Cottage Bed & Breakfast Inn.
